ABOUT US

MEMORA is a photographic collective founded in Milan in 2023. 

Through a plurality of visual languages, MEMORA’s photographers document the condition of human beings as individuals immersed in the complexities and tragedies of our present time. At the center of their narrative are people’s stories — protagonists within broader geopolitical dynamics, yet deeply rooted in the social fabric shaped by, and within, our era.

To disseminate their work in a structured and coherent way, MEMORA’s photographers work across different media and formats: reports published in print and online newspapers, fine art prints for exhibitions, installations, and cultural events, where the stories behind the photographs are explored in greater depth.

In this context, photography preserves its role as a form of testimony while simultaneously establishing itself as a conscious and enduring artistic practice.

In 2025, MEMORA became an APS (Social Promotion Association) with the aim of expanding opportunities for collaboration with other social organizations and developing projects across different territories.
